Commemorate and reflect on World AIDS Day with Frannie Peabody Center
World AIDS Day is an important time for our community to come together to honor our friends, family, and loved ones who have passed from HIV/AIDS, but also to support and encourage those who are still living with or impacted by this disease.
Frannie Peabody Center will be hosting multiple events, including a candlelight vigil in Monument Square Park on December 1st, in addition to a screening of the documentary film "5B" on December 3rd at the Portland Museum of Art, sponsored by Janssen Infectious Diseases & Vaccines.
The vigil will be followed by remarks from a special guest speaker and a performance from the Portland Players' cast of "Rent". Battery operated candles will be provided as supplies last, but you may bring your own as well.
